(ENG) ECF 01: La Stanza di Kwanza in conversation with Natasha Kelly

We are glad to announce that as one of the Culture of Solidarity Fund recipients, an initiative created by the European Cultural Foundation (@europeanculturalfoundation), #blackcoffee_pdc, the Italian podcast that tells black identities with no filter, goes European. Hence the English! We will kick off this fresh new start with a new section called Exploring Black Europe with La Stanza di Kwanza hosted by the talented activist and co-founder of the cultural association @questaeroma, Kwanza Musi Dos Santos (@lastanzadikwanza). Kwanza will bring you into another Black European reality interviewing guests who are all professionals in their field for three episodes.

 

For this first episode, we are delighted to introduce you to Dr Natasha A. Kelly (@natasha.a.kelly), a German independent scholar, filmmaker, author and curator. Dr Natasha A. Kelly specializes in German Black Studies and is currently a visiting professor at the University of Rhode Island in the United States. In this instalment, the multi-hyphenate scholar explores with Kwanza the question of citizenship, the German political landscape now Angela Merkel is leaving, the BLM movement in Germany, and her hope for the younger generations.
